Canales is not blaming the players for a lack of heart. He is questioning the game plan itself. He said the biggest question for him and defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero was “What was our plan? Was there too much? Too little?”. The team practiced the concepts, but they could not stop them when it counted. Okereke noted that they knew how the Bears would attack, yet they still got crushed. Despite the ugly loss, Canales still backs his system.
